Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Ph.D qualification(s) in relevant discipline for the post of Professor in Arts and Science & Associate Professor in Arts, Science, Tribal Studies Centre, Humanities, Social Science, and Education, Ph.D Degree with first class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology/ Applied Biological Sciences for the post of Professor in Information Technology, Associate Professor in Biotechnology & Associate Professor for Electronics & Telecommunication and Agricultural Engineering, Master’s Degree level with at least  55% marks in relevant subject for the Post of Assistant Professor in Arts discipline, Assistant Professor in Fine Arts & Non Teaching Posts.
Application Fee: OC & OBC Candidates must pay Rs.400+ Rs. 50 for Teaching posts and Rs.300+ Rs. 50 for Non Teaching posts, for SC/ST/PWD only Rs. 50/- must be paid as Postal Charges through demand draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Assam University, Silchar payable at UCO Bank, Silchar (Branch Code 2005) or State Bank of India, Silchar (Branch Code 7061).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
