Age Limit: Candidates should have minimum 18 years of age and not above 30 years for others & no maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates as on 01-07-2013.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess .Master’s Degree in Statistics or Master’s degree in Economics / Operations Research / Computer Applications / Computer Science / Mathematics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics and Statistics as ancillary / allied subject.
Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay examination fee of Rs. 175/- (Examination Fee Rs. 125/- + Cost of Application Rs. 50/-) through Online or Offline mode. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application cost. No exemption for cost of application. For Online payment fee must be paid through Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit card. For Offline payment fee paid through Challan (generated from bank website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Written Exam and Oral Test/Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net on or before 31-01-2013. After submission of online application candidate need to take print and retain it for further use.

1. Before applying, the candidates should have scanned image of their photograph and signature.
2. Log on to www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.
3. Select the ‘Notification’ link followed by “Apply Online”.
4. Click on the post to be applied by the candidate.
5. Candidates should fill all the details in the online application form, upload photo and signature and click on ‘Submit’ button.
6. After submitting Application, application number and password will be generated.
7. Candidates should take the print of system generated application and retain it for further use.
