Eligible candidates can apply through prescribed application format on or before 28-02-2013. North Eastern Hill University Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 04
Name of the post:
1. Professor/ Associate Professor: 01 Post
2. Associate Professor: 01 Post
3. Assistant Professor: 02 Posts

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must possess Ph.D/ Masters Degree with 55% marks in Aggregate in relevant field with desired experience as per the post and with a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal   System (PBAS). Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.500/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates. Person with Disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee may be paid through Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of Finance Officer, NEHU payable at Shillong or the fee can also be paid through University Challan.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
