NIS Chennai Recruitment 2013 – Teaching & Non Teaching Posts: National Institute of Siddha (NIS) Chennai has issued notification for the recruitment of 12 Teaching & Non Teaching Posts. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 15-03-2013. 3. Assistant Professor (Modern Medicine): 01 post
4. Dy. Medical Superintendent/Medical Officer: 01 post
II. Non – Teaching:
5. Statistical Assistant: 01 post
6. Lower Division Clerk: 01 post
7. Nursing Assistant: 06 posts

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit must be 50 years for Sr. No. 3, 35 Yrs for SR. no. 4 posts, 30 Yrs for Sr. no. 5 posts & 28 Yrs for SR. No. 6 & 7 posts. Candidates can refer notification for remaining details.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess M.D. (General Medicine)/ Internal Medicine or Post-Graduate Diploma in General Medicine for Sr. No. 3 posts, PG Degree in Siddha for Sr. No. 4 posts, Master’s Degree in Statistics for Sr. No. 5 posts, Higher Secondary from a recognized State Board of Education, Typing speed prescribed as per DOPT norms for Sr. No. 6 posts & Secondary School Certificate or equivalent from a recognized State Board, One year certificate course in nursing for Sr. No. 7 posts. Candidates can refer notification for remaining details.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- for General/OBC Candidates (no fee for SC/ST candidates). Pay fee through DD drawn in favor of “Director, National Institute of Siddha” payable at Chennai. Application form can also be downloaded from the website www.nischennai.org

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected interview or written test or both.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send the filled prescribed application form along with DD, necessary certificates to the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai-600047 on or before 15-03-2013.
