Age Limit: Candidates age not more than 35 years for Sl No 1 & 2, 4 to 8 and 32 years for Sl No 3 as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Medical qualification included in First or Second schedule for Sl No 1 and Second class Master’s Degree or Honours Degree in Geography of an Indian University or equivalent for Sl No 2 and Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with 4 (four) years degree course for Sl No 3 and Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture for Sl No 4 to 8.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on written test/ interview.

How to Apply: Candidates may apply through prescribed application format along with the copies of the following documents either Self Certified or attested of Madhyamik or equivalent certificate, caste certificate issued by competent authority, Registration certificate for citizenship, Mark sheet and certificate for each examination passed, Experience certificate, 2 self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one self-addressed post card and send to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Age Limit:Candidates age limit should be 21-32 years as on 01-01-2014 i.e born not earlier than 02-01-1982 & not earlier than 01-01-1993 for Group A, C, D Posts, 20-32 years as on 01-01-2014 i.e born not earlier than 02-01-1982 & not later than 01-01-1994 for the West Bengal Police Service only. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree from recognized university and ability to speak, read, write Bengali.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Both Objective and Conventional Type-Written) and Personality Test.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.210/- only either by Net Banking or Offline through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS, Govt of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online Application Form. Govt Receipt Head of Account is “0051-00-105-001-16” from 08-04-2014 to 28-04-2014. SC/ ST, PWD candidates of west bengal are exempted from fee.

(i) Payment through Online Mode:
1. Candidate may pay the fee by using Net Banking he/ she shall be directed to the GRIPS Portal automatically.
2. Fill the details & click on the confirm button & select the listed banks pay the fee by using credit/ debit card.
3. Once payment is made through Net Banking, take a print out/ Save the acknowledgement slip which contains Government Reference Number (GRN) and Bank Reference Number (BRN) and the Fees paid.

(ii) Payment through Offline Mode/ Counter Payment:
1. Candidate may pay the fee by using Offline Mode/ Counter Payment he/ she shall be directed to the GRIPS Portal automatically.
2. Here the Payment Mode is given as “Counter Payment”. Click on Confirm, and go the next screen which shows the Choice of Banks.
3. Once you select and click on the Bank & go for counter payment.
4.Click on the Link above to go to the respective Banks Portal where you have to fill up the captcha code.
5. Once confirmed, you will be prompted to save and print the e-Challan for future use.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.pscwbonline.gov.in from 08-04-2014 to 30-04-2014.

Instructions to Apply online:
1. Log on to website www.pscwbonline.gov.in.
2. Click on the link “ONE TIME REGISTRATION”, Scan photo and signature in the given format.
3. Fill all the fields carefully & click on the register button for registration.
4. After clicking on the register button registration form can be downloaded only once, carefully download the registration form for future refernce.
5. After successful registration Log in to your account, then a page will get List of current examination matches his/ her profile, click on the “Apply Now”.
6. Go to www.pscwbonline.gov.in, Give your Registration ID and Password & click on the login button.
7. There will be six tabs, 1st tab contains scheme & syllabus, 2nd tab contains y Personal Details that candidate can esit the details.
8. 3rd tab contains same as previous tab, you can mention your address, 4th tab contains Qualification Details, candidate can mention all his/ her details.
9. 5th tab contains exam specific, carefully give the exam centre, languages & click
on the 6th tab.
10. 6th tab contains Declaration tab, read out the declaration and click on the check boxes and click on the submit button.
11. Candidates must submit the application fee as mentioned above.
12. Take the print copy of challan for future use.
