Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-33 years as on 01-01-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a President’s Guide/ Scout/ Range/ Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder or Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Training Guide/ Leader/ Advanced Training Guide/ Leader/ Captain.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test/ personality test/ interview/ viva voce.

Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.40/- through Bank Draft/ IPO for General Candidates. SC/ST candidates, Women, Minorities, Economically Backward Class and Ex. Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee sent to the concerned division in the Notification.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with one passport size photograph duly signed should be pasted on the application in the space provided and similar two passport size photographs duly signed on reverse should be clipped along with application form, Demand Draft, Self attested copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualification, age relaxation & partcipation certificate in Scouts/ Guides, Self attested copy of caste certificates in the case of SC/ ST/OBC candidates issued by competent authority On the top of the envelope
“APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS AND GUIDES QUOTA” & “ EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. 1/SQ/Scout &Guide /2013-14 / Division………. /JBP / BPL / KTT” should be super-scribed. on or before 04-02-2014 up to 17:00 Hrs to the concerned division in the Notification & written test will be conducted on 22-01-2014 at in Divisional Railway Manager’s office of respective divisions or at venue as advised by the respective divisions.
