OPSC Recruitment 2012 – Faculty Vacancies:
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued notification against
recruitment of 14 Faculty Vacancies in Group-‘A’ of Odisha Medical
Education Service under Health & Family Welfare Department. Eligible
candidates may apply through prescribed format on or before 10-05-2012

Age Limit: Candidate’s
age must be within 55 years for the post of Professor and within 50
years for Associate Professor Post as on 01/08/2011. (Age relaxations
would be as per Government rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details of post wise required educational qualification.
Application Fee Details:
General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- and SC/ST candidates
need to pay Rs. 50/- at Office of the Special Secretary, Odisha Public
Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 to obtain
the application form (or) deposit
a Bank Draft or Pay Order at Scheduled Bank at Cuttack with forwarding
letter addressed to the Special Secretary, O.P.S.C., Cuttack mentioning
full name and address of the candidate, advertisement number and name of
the Post/Service advertised and the amount would be Rs. 190/- for
General and OBC candidates and Rs. 90/ for SC/ST candidates drawn in
favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission (or) can
also be downloaded from website and sent along with Rs. 150/- only in
shape of Bank Draft/Bank Pay Order/or Treasury Challan deposited under
the Head 0051-P.S.C.-105-State P.S.C.- Examination Fee, SC/ST candidates
need to pay Rs. 50/-.
Selection Procedure: Selections of candidates can be made on the basis of Written Examination and/or Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates must obtain Application Form,
fill in the application format completely, attach photographer, attest
signature, super scribe the name of post to be applied for on the
envelope and send it to the following address, Special Secretary, Odisha
Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 on
or before 10-05-2012 (extended to 21-09-2012).
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 10-05-2012 (extended to 21-09-2012)
Note: Candidates who have applied earlier in response to notification 01 of 2012-13 need not apply again.
