National Institute of Rock Mechanics Jobs 2012 – Various Vacancies:
National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) has issued notification
against recruitment of 16 various vacancies for its R&D activities
at its KGF & Bangalore Units. Interested candidates may apply
through prescribed format on or before 30 days from the date of

Names of Posts:
1. Scientist-II – 02 vacancies
2. Scientist-III – 02 vacancies
3. Scientist-IV – 02 vacancies
4. Scientist-V – 01 vacancy
5. Finance & Accounts Officer – 01 vacancy
6. Office Assistant-I (HINDI) – 01 vacancy
7. Scientific Assistant-I – 05 vacancies
8. Technician-I – 01 vacancy
9. Driver Grade-I – 01 vacancy
Age Limit: Candidates’
age must be below 40 years for Scientist II post, below 45 years for 2
to 5 posts and below 28 years for posts 6 to 9. Cutoff date for
determining age limit would be 01-09-2012. (Age relaxations will be
extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details of post wise required educational qualification.
Application Fee Details:
Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 200/- for posts 1 to5 and
Rs. 100/- for posts 6 to 9 in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of
“National Institute of Rock Mechanics” payable on State Bank of India
(Dooravaninagar Branch) / State Bank of Mysore (KGF Branch) /
Corporation Bank (Andersonpet Branch) / Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank/
Karur Vysya Bank, Robertsonpet/ KGF. SC/ST candidates are exempted from
payment of fee.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application
format available in the website, fill it with all mandatory details,
attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe Application against
Advt/01/2012-13 on the envelope and send it along with DD and Copies of
all relevant certificates, to the following address, National Institute
of Rock Mechanics, Champion Reefs, Kolar Gold Fields- 563 117,
Karnataka, INDIA on or before 30 days from the date of publication.
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30 days from the date of publication
