Assam TET – Notification, Online Application, Call Letter, Result & Other Complete Details: The Government of Assam, Department of School Education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) conducts Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) also known as Assam TET. Assam TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (Class I-V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Assam. TET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered for Teacher jobs in schools run by the government and private managements. BA/B.Sc/ B.Com/BT with B.Ed is the minimum educational qualification to apply for Assam TET. Assam TET Details:Assam TET Exam 2014 – Apply Online for Special Teacher Eligibility Test: Secondary Educational Department, Government of Assam has released notification for conducting Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) of High School Level for the Contractual Teachers engaged under the scheme “Strengthening and Improvement of the Quality Secondary Education in the State”. Eligible candidates can apply online from 21-07-2014 to 11-08-2014. Other detials like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….

Name of the Exam: Assam Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be Graduate teacher has been prescribed as BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university, Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university or B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T / B. Ed. degree from any recognized University for Hindi Teacher, Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized University for Classical Teacher (Sanskrit), MM with 50% marks with degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T./B.Ed. from any recognized University for Classical Teacher such as Arabic, Urdu, Persian etc and B.A with Honours/ Major in concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree from any recognized University for Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language).

Eligibility: Contractual Teachers engaged in the Secondary Education Department under the scheme “Strengthening and Improvement of the Quality Secondary Education in the State can apply.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.400/- only through SBI Bank Challan payable at any branch of State bank of India.

How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the website www.rmsaassam.in from 21-07-2014 to 11-08-2014.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online scan the photograph and signature with the size not greater than 35KB, 30KB respectively. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format.
2.Visit RMSA, Assam’s website www.rmsaassam.in and click online application
for Special TET link.
3. Download the Instruction Manual and read it carefully.
4. Fill the Online Application Form carefully with all details.
5. Then upload the scanned photograph and signature and Submit
6. After submitting Online Application Form, take printout of online SBI Bank Challan and pay the fee from second working day onwards, from the day of submission of online
application form.
