Age Limit: For Group-B Posts (Sr. No. 01 to 11) – 25 to 40 years and Group- C Posts (Sr. No. 12 to 23) – 18 to 35 years as on 03-06-2013. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules. Regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified and otherwise eligible can be considered for the recruitment up to a maximum of 50 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduation for Sr. No. 1 post, degree or equivalent diploma in Library Science for Sr. No. 2 post, M.Sc. in appropriate field/ B.Tech/B.E. or B.Sc for Sr. No. 3 to 11 posts, B.Sc. in appropriate field/ BCA/ Diploma in Engg for Sr. No. 12 to 21 posts & Bachelors Degree with knowledge of computer office applications for Sr. No. 22 & 23 posts.
Application Fee: Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs. 250/- for the posts at Sl.Nos.01 to 23, drawn in favor of “THE REGISTRAR, IIT KANPUR” payable at KANPUR. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to submit the demand draft.
Selection Process: The selection process will generally consist of written/ trade test and/ or interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to apply through online/offline from the website of IITK www.iitk.ac.in. Online applications can be submitted on or before 28-05-2013. After successful submission candidates have to send the hard copy of the submitted application along with DD, necessary enclosures must be sent in the below mentioned process to the below given address within the stipulated period. The applications in prescribed format (Offline Applications) can be downloaded from the above mentioned website. Fill the form, affix photograph, attach DD, Copies of testimonials/ certificates in support of age, caste, PWD, educational and technical qualification certificates must be sent by super-scribing as “Application for the post of ……………….” and send them to The Registrar, (Attn.) Recruitment Section, Room No. 224, 2nd Floor (Faculty Building), IIT KANPUR – 208016 (U.P.) INDIA on or before 03-06-2013.

3. New Applicants requires to register first then they have to proceed for online application.

6. Enter Employment/ General/ Additional Qualification/ Experience Details.
7. Upload the photo and signature.
