IIHR Recruitment 2013 – Various Vacancies: Indian Institute of Horticultural Research has issued notification for the recruitment of 20 Research Assistant, Technical Assistant and other temporary vacancies under various research projects/schemes at IIHR Bangalore. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 15-05-2013 and attend for personnel interview on 21-05-2013. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not exceed 40 years for men & 45 years for women for RA post, 35 years for men & 40 years for women for SRF post. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc./ M.Phil in Nutrition / Food Science  and Nutrition/ Home Science/ Plant Pathology/ Microbiology, M.Sc. in Plant pathology/ Microbiology/ Mycology, ITI or Diploma in any of the workshop activities, VIII th Class passed, Degree with computer knowledge and typing, SSLC with JOC / Certificate in Hort. Knowledge of Mango pests experience, B.Sc with typing experience. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications/ bio data for each post separately to the officer on or before 15-05-2013 and also attend for personnel interview with two passport size photographs and one set of the Xerox copies of their educational / professional qualification along-with the originals for verification at IIHR Campus on 21-05-2013 from 10:00 A M onwards.

IIHR Recruitment 2013 – Technical Officer Vacancies: Indian Institute of Horticultural Research has issued notification for the recruitment of Technical posts at IIHR Headquarters, Bangalore Karnataka under the Administrative Control of I.C.A.R. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News. 1. T-6 (Technical Officer) (Farm): 01 post
2. T-6 (Technical Officer) (Library): 01 post

Age limit: Candidates age must be between 18-35 years. Age relaxation is applicable to OBC/ SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates to the extent permissible under the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master’s degree in Agriculture Or Horticulture for Technical Officer (Farm) posts & Master’s degree in Library Science for Technical Officer (Library) post.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.300/- as application fee in the shape of DD drawn in favour of “ICAR unit – IIHR” payable at Bangalore. No fee for SC/ ST candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of initial screening of the applications, followed by a Written Test & Interview.
