Age Limit: The candidates should be preferably below 35 years of age. Relaxation in age is permissible as per Govt. of India norms.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Ph.D with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch/discipline with a very good academic record. A minimum of three years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience. Candidates with Ph.D. but with less than 3 years of experience can be considered for Assistant Professor on contract on pay as approved by the Board of Governors.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.

After submission of online application candidates should take th print of the application form and send their applications along with recent pass port size photograph and photocopies of certificates with self addressed envelope cover to the Deputy Registrar (E-1), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi -110016 on or before 09-04-2013.
