Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should be 50 years for post No 1 to 4, 40 years for the post No 5 to 6, 35 years for the post No’s 7 and 8, 30 years for Technical Officer and Management Assistant posts as on 04-03-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science /Engineering graduate for Post No.1, M.Sc/B.Tech with MBA in Biological Sciences for post No. 2, Degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science/ Engineering or CA/ICWA/MBA for Post No.3, LLM with IPR specialization with 5 years relevant experience for Post No.4, M.Tech / AMIL or Degree in Civil Engineering for post No.5, M.Tech or its equivalent from a recognized university/ institute in Computers/Information Technology for Post. No. 6, M.V.Sc or M.Tech or equivalent with one year of relevant experience for Post No.7, M.Tech in relevant discipline with one year experience for Post No.8, MCA/B.Tech in (Electronics/ IT/ CS) with one year experience for Post No.9, Graduate degree in any discipline from recognized institute/university or equivalent for Post No.10.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay non refundable application fee of Rs.100/- for General and OBC Category candidates (No application fee for scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/PWD candidates), by means of Demand Draft (issued by State Bank of India only) valid at least 6 months drawn in favor of ‘National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali” payable at Phase-1Br., Mohali.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test followed by interview.
