Age Limit: Candidates age must be 35 years for Scientist & Senior Technical Officer posts and 37 years for Senior Scientist post. Age Relaxations will be extended as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Ph. D (Science) in the discipline of Chemistry for Scientist posts, Ph. D (Engineering) in the discipline of Structural Engineering for Senior Scientist posts and MBA with minimum 55% marks after 1st Class B.Sc/BCA for senior Technical Officer Post.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- as application fee in the form of demand draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “The Director, CSIR – SERC” payable at Chennai. No fee for the SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women/ CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
How to Apply: Candidates have to visit the website of SERC and fill the online application on or before 22-01-2013, Take a Hard Copy and send it along with recent passport size photograph, attested copies of Matriculation/SSLC, Degree, DD and other necessary certificates by super scribing the envelope as “Application for the post of Scientist/Senior Scientist/ Senior Technical Officer (1)” to the Controller of Administration, CSIR – SERC, CSIR Campus, Post Bag. No. 8287, CSIR Road, Taramani P. O. Chennai – 600113 on or before 31-01-2013.
