1. Scientist: G/ Principal Scientist: 01 Post
2. Scientist: F: 02 Posts
3. Technical Officer: 01 Post
4. Junior Technical Officer: 03 Posts
5. Senior Technical Officer: 03 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age not exceeding 52 years for Scientist-G post, 50 years for Scientist-F post, 40 years for Technical Officer, 35 years for Jr Technical Officer, 30 years for Sr Technical Officer as on 18-01-2013.

Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in Earth Science or equivalent for Scientist Posts, M.Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent or Diploma in Engineering/ Technology of minimum three years/ B.Sc for remaining Posts. Candidates having relevant experience for all the posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be short listed on the merit of their qualifications and experience. Only the short listed candidates will be called for an interview.
