WBPSC – WBCS Executive Examination 2013

WBPSC – WBCS Executive Examination 2013: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will hold the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Examination, 2013 for the recruitment of Group A, B, C & D posts in West Bengal Civil Service and certain other Services. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 30-11-2012. Age Limit: Candidate should have age not below 20 years but not more than 32 years for West Bengal Police Service (Group-B) and not below 21 years but not more than 32 years for remaining posts included in Group A, C & D.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess degree from a recognized university and having ability to read, write and speak Bengali.
Application Fee: Candidate should pay the application fee of 210/- (SC/ ST of West Bengal persons/ PWD are exempted) in the form of Indian Postal Order, crossed and endorsed to The Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or in the form of a receipted challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may download the prescribed application format from www.pscwb.org.in or may also be typed/printed, affix passport size photograph on it and may be submitted personally along with photocopies of certificates, two self addressed unstamped envelopes, super scribing the envelope with Advertisement No., name of the Examination, name of the Examination Centre opted may submitted either personally between 11-00 AM & 3-30 PM of the Commission’s office at 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026, or sent by post to the Deputy Secretary (Examination), Public Service Commission, West Bengal on or before 30-11-2012.
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30-11-2012.
