CMFRI Recruitment 2012 – Various Vacancies: Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Cochin established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Agriculture. It invites applications for filling up of 04 Senior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant III and Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant II vacancies under the project of “Assessment of deep-sea fishery resources of the continental slope of the Indian EEZ”. Names of Posts:
1. Senior Research Fellow / Project Assistant III – 01 Post.
2. Junior Research Fellows / Project Assistant II (Fisheries & Biotechnology) – 03 Posts.

Age Limit: Candidate should have 30 years or below for Senior Research Fellow post and 28 years or below for Junior Research Fellow post. Cutoff date for determining age is as on 01-08-2012.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Masters degree in Marine Biology/ Industrial Fisheries/ Applied fisheries/ Aquaculture or equivalent from any University for Senior Research Fellow post and Masters degree in Marine Biology/ Industrial Fisheries/ Biotechnology/ Applied fisheries and Aquaculture/ Aquatic biology/ Zoology (specialization fisheries) / Biotechnology (Molecular taxonomy specialization) or equivalent from any Indian University for Junior Research Fellow post.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in interview.
