Power Grid Corporation of India – 53 Field Engineer/Supervisor Posts 2012: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is hiring 53 Field Engineer and Field Supervisor posts on contract basis for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier. PGCIL Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 53

Names of Posts:
1. Field Engineers Civil – 07 vacancies
2. Field Supervisors Civil – 24 vacancies
3. Field Supervisors Electrical – 22 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 29 years for applying for any of the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 17-09-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BE/B.Tech/BSc/AMIE/Engg Diploma/Engg Degree in Civil or Electrical with 55% marks.

Application Fee Details: Application Fee would be Rs. 200/- for Field Engineer post and Rs. 100/- for Field Supervisor posts, for General and OBC candidates. This fee amount must be paid in form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of  “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.” Payable at Patna (preferably drawn on State Bank of India). SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Out of all applicants, most eligible and suitable candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Screening Test and Personal Interview.
