JKPSC Recruitment 2014 – Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), Jammu invites applications to conduct Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2014 for the recruitment of 51 J&K Administrative Service, J&K Police Service & J&K Accounts Service Vacancies. 1. Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service: 33 Posts
2. J&K Police Service: 16 Posts
3. J&K Accounts Service: 02 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates should have attained the age of 21 years but should not have crossed 35 years & upper age limit is 37 years for SC/ ST/ Socially and Educationally Backward Classes as on 01-01-2014. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01-01-1979 and not later than 01-01-1993.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should posses Bachelors degree of a recognized University in India or of a foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to the degree of a recognized Indian University.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Preliminary & Main Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 800/- for Open Merit/ General, Rs. 550/- for SC, ST, RBA, LAC, SLC and PHC candidates and no fee for Female candidates in BPL.

Application Form: Candidate can obtain application form along-with copy of SRO 387 dated 01-12-2008 as amended from time to time containing the syllabus for the examination, instructions for filling up of the Application Form, Acknowledgment Card and an Envelope for submitting the Application Form from any designated branches of the J&K Bank on payment of application fee on or before 11-06-2014.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format by pasting 1 recently captured passport size photograph of the candidate, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the application form and deposit in any of the designated branches of the J&K Bank (refer notification for list of branches) on or before 12-06-2014.
