IIP Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for Scientist Posts: Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Dehradun has published a notification for the recruitment of Scientist/ Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist Vacancies. Name of the Post:
1. Scientist/ Senior Scientist: 16 Posts
2. Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 04 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates Upper Age Limit not exceeding 32 years for Scientist, 37 years for Senior Scientist, 45 years for Principal Scientist, 50 years for Senior Principal Scientist as on 28-04-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M Tech.( Chemical Engineering )/ Ph.D.( Chemistry) for Scientist, M.E./ M. Tech. (Chemical Engineering) with 3 years relevant experience or Ph.D. (Chemistry) with 2 years relevant experience for Senior Scientist, Ph.D. (Chemistry) with 3 years relevant experience or Ph.D (Chemical Engineering) with 3 years relevant experience for Principal Scientist, Ph.D.(Chemistry) with 6 years relevant experience or Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) with 6 years relevant experience for Senior Principal Scientist.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Demand Draft for Rs.100/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum” payable at Dehradun. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply Online through website www.iip.res.in from 28-03-2014 to 28-04-2014 and computer generated online application (Print-out) duly accompanied by attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscribed          ’APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF —- (Post Code —-) ‘ by registered/ speed post to the Controller of Administration, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Mohkampur, Haridwar Road, Dehradun – 248005 on or before 05-05-2014.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Cadidates should have a valid email id before applying online.
2. Log on to the www.iip.res.in.
3. Click on the ‘Career’ Link —> ‘ Apply Now’.
4. Fill all the manadetary details.
5. Upload photograph and signature.
6. Successful online application is indicated by the page displayed after clicking Submit Button indicating the generated “APPLICATION NUMBER”.
7. Take print out of application form and retain it for further use.
