1. Professor: 10 Posts (SC-01, ST-03, SEBC-06)
2. Associate Professor: 16 Posts (SC-03, ST-08, SEBC-05)
3. Assistant Professor: 08 Posts (ST-07, SEBC-01)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D. qualification (s) in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers for Professor Posts, Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines for Associate Professor Posts, Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university for Assistant Professor Posts. Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.250/- through demand draft in favour of Registrar (Establishment Section), Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. SC/ ST category need not pay application fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format should filled in 12 copies, self attested copies of mark sheets, certificates and all necessary documents should be attached in one copy only and should be attached to the first copy of the application form. All 12 (Twelve) Application forms should be sent along with Demand Draft. Candidates who apply for the Post of Professor, Associate Professor must fill up the A.P.I. form along with the Application on or before 27-01-2014 to Registrar, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar-388 120.
