Age Limit: Candidates should possess 18-38 years as on 01-01-2013 for UR/ OBC/ MOBC categories. Relaxation of age for SC/ST candidates as per existing Rules will be admissible. Reservation for physically handicapped persons will be exercised as per norms.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Higher Secondary Examination passed from Govt. or Govt. recognized institution with skill in type writing in English 40 wpm and Assamese 30 wpm for (Sr.No:1,3) Posts, must have passed HSSLC examination from Govt/Govt. recognized institution along with Stenography Certificate examination from Govt. ITI/Govt. recognized institution for (Sr.No:2) Posts, must have passed HSLC examination from Govt/ Govt recognized institution along with valid driving license for (Sr.No:4) Posts, should have passed VIII class for other Posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.10/- for candidates belonging to UR/ MOBC/ OBC & Rs.5/- for SC & ST candidates deposited under Head of Account “0070-other Administrative Services”. Postal Order or demand draft drawn from any nationalized Bank in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar payable at Sivasagar or Indian Postal Order drawn in the name of Deputy Commissioner.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with demand draft, HSLC Admit Card, Pass Certificate & Mark sheet. HSSLC pass Certificate & Mark sheet, PRC, Caste Certificate, Employment Exchange Registration Card, Type Writing Diploma, Stenography certificate, 4 (four) copies of recent passport size photograph should be duly attested by Gazetted Officer on or before 01-02-2014.
