notification for the recruitment of Distinguished Scientist Posts.
Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on

Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 65 years. Age relaxation is applicable.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Proven track record in areas of cutting edge Science & Technology, International eminence.
Selection Process: The
Search-cum-Selection Committee for recommending the suitable incumbent
shall be constituted with the approval of Vice-President, CSIR.

Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh for
Physical Sciences , Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute
(CMERI), Durgapur for Engineering Sciences and National Institute of
Science Communication and Information Resource (NISCAIR), New Delhi for

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have Ph.D in Natural Sciences or Masters Degree in
Engineering for Post 1 & 2 and Ph.D in Natural /Social Sciences or
Masters Degree in Engineering for Post 3 and have 16 years of experience
in Research and Development in the areas of activities of the
Laboratory/ Institute and demonstrated excellence in leadership therein.
