Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 40 years for Asst Professor and between 40 years to 50 years for Director and between 35 years to 45 years as on 01-01-2013. Age Relaxation is applicable for OBC/ SC/ ST and Physically Challenged persons.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject of this University or an Indian/ Foreign University recognized by qualifying NET/ SLET for Asst Professor and an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualifications in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality with minimum of 10 years of teaching experience for Director and Ph.D in Physical Education with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level by the University concerned for Deputy Director.

Application Fee: Candidates have to take Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft Rs.400/- for Assistant Professor and Rs.600/- for Director and Rs. 500/- for Deputy Director and need to remit only 25% of the above fee for SC/ ST candidates payable to the Finance Officer, University of Calicut (at SBT, Calicut University Branch) and those within the State should remit the fee by way of chalan receipt in the following head of account.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with copies of all certificates/ documents, copies of certificates proving age, caste/ community, educational qualification, experience in teaching/ research projects, research publications and all other achievements, 6 copies of enclosing attested copies of certificates, proof for age, community and experience, DD and send to Registrar, University of Calicut on or before 15-01-2014 by 5:00 PM and 30-01-2014 for candidates applying from abroad.
