JKPSC Recruitment 2013 – 109 Assistant Engineer Vacancies: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has advertised notification for recruitment of the 109 Assistant Engineer vacancies in Public Works (R&B) Department on contract basis. 1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 76 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 33 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 37 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India (Civil Engineering) for S.No.1 Post, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India (Mechanical Engineering) for S.No.2 Post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview/ Screening Test.

Application Form: Candidates have can obtained the application form from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/) in respect of General Category candidates and Rs. 250/- (excluding processing charges of 10/-) in respect of Category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can obtain their application form and attach the passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer and send along with photo copies of date of birth certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Registration certificate etc mentioned in the notification to the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Garh Jammu on or before 15-11-2013. Screening Test for Short Listed Candidates will be held on 23-02-2014.

JKPSC Recruitment 2013 – J & K Combined Competitive Main Examination: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued notification for conducting the J&K Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2013 for permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir State. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 25-11-2013. Other details regarding age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below…

1.Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service: 60 Posts
2. J&K Police (G) Service: 20 Posts
3. J&K Accounts (G) Service: 19 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years but must have not crossed the age of 35 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have qualified the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2013 and must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized University.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.

Application Form: Candidates seeking admission to the Main Examination can obtain the prescribed Application Forms, instructions for filling the Application Forms, acknowledgement cards and envelopes for submitting the Application Forms, from the offices of J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu and Polo Ground, Srinagar, on payment of Rs. 510/- and Rs. 260/- respectively in respect of OM candidates and Reserved Category candidates respectively on cash payment to be deposited in the J&K Bank Counters operating at the offices of the Commission at Jammu and Srinagar. The amount payable should include Rs.100/- as cost of the form and Rs.10/- service charges of the J&K Bank.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can submit the Application Forms complete in all respects affixed with photograph together with attested copies of matriculation certificate, educational qualification certificate, permanent residence certificate, etc and the Acknowledgement Cards bearing postage stamp of Rs.5/-, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2013” should reach in the Commission office at Jammu/Srinagar personally or mailed in the special envelope supplied for the purpose, by registered post to the address of the Secretary & Controller of Examinations, J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Polo Ground, Srinagar, on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 10 AM to 3 P.M up to 25-11-2013.
