Age Limit: Candidates age should be not exceeding 52 years in case of direct recruits and 56 years in case of deputationists for Principal Scientist, 50 years for direct recruits and 55 years in case of deputationists for Scientist ‘F’ as on the closing date for submission of application. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Doctoral degree in Earth Science or equivalent domain areas of research as undertaken in the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, with relevant experience.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can download the application form from website- www.wihg.res.in and submit the applications along with attested photocopies in support of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. In case of the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category, attested copies of caste certificates should be submitted with the application forms must reach the Registrar, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, 33, General Mahadeo Singh Road, Dehra Dun – 248 001 on or before 21-10-2013 by 4.00 P.M.
