1. Professor (Electronics & Communication Engg): 02 Posts
2. Associate Professor (Electronics & Communication Engg): 04 Posts
3. Assistant Professor (Electronics & Communication Engg): 06 Posts
4. District Inspector/ Additional District Inspector: 03 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 50 years for S.No 1 Post; 40 years for S.No 2 Post; 35 years for S.No 3, 4 Posts as on 01-01-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.E/ B.Tech and M.E/ M.Tech or Ph.D in relevant branch for S.No 1, 2, 3 Posts; Masters Degree from recognised University for S.No 4 Post with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test/ Written Test, Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.210/- in the form of Indian Postal Order crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. IPO must be payable at G.P.O, Kolkata. SC/ ST of West Bengal, PwD are exempted from the fee.

How to Apply: Interested candidates must send applications in the prescribed format along with original IPO/ Treasury Challan, copies of all relevant certificates, two self addressed unstamped envelopes, one self addressed post card enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the name of the post applied so as to reach the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata-700026 by registered/ speed post or in person on or before 20-08-2013.
