Total No. of Vacancies: 44
Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer [Electric]

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 37 years as on 01-01-2013 and relaxation is available.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering or AMIE Section A&B India in the appropriate branch of Engineering.

Selection Process: Selection is based on Screening Test and Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates can obtain application form from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs.500/- [excluding processing charges of Rs.10/-] for General Category candidates and Rs.250/- [excluding processing charges of 10/-] for Category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar,Jammu from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM on all working days.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidate may submit the original OMR Application Form along with photocopy of OMR Application Form and all relevant certificates/ testimonials, passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazette Officer pasted at the space in the application form & enclosures be submitted to the Commission office in the envelope provided by the Commission so as to reach Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on or before 13-09-2013 and selected candidates will be called for the interview.
