CSIR Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 02
Names of the Posts:
1. Technical Assistant (ERP) Gr III: 01 Post
2. Technical Assistant (IT) Gr III: 01 post

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 31 years for post No.1 and should not exceed 28 years for Post No.2. The upper age limit prescribed is to be reckoned as on the last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10+2 with Science Subjects followed by1st Class Diploma in IT (or) Computer Engineering of 3 years full time duration for Post No.1 and 10+2 with Science Subjects followed by 1st Class Diploma in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology (IT)/Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) of 3 years full time duration for Post No.2.

Application Fee: Candidate has to pay a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of CSIR Madras Complex, payable at Chennai. No fee for SC/ST candidates and regular employees of CSIR. Persons with Disabilities are also exempted from payment of application fee subject to submission of prescribed medical certificate.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test / trade test / interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their filled in application duly signed,  along with recent passport size photograph, attested copy of matriculation/SSLC as proof of age, degree/ provisional degree certificate, copies of mark sheets of all the semesters/ years, SC/ ST/ OBC certificate(s), work experience certificates, testimonials, demand draft, etc., should reach in a sealed cover by super scribing for the post & post code applying for, to The Controller of Administration, CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai – 600 113 on or before 29-07-2013.

Tech in any discipline in Engineering or Ph.D (Sc/ Engg) for S.No 5 Division, with relevant experience for Principal Scientist, Sr Principal Scientist & Sr. Scientist posts.

Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs 500/- by Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India in favour of ‘Joint Secretary (Admn.), CSIR, New Delhi’. Women/SC/ST/PH candidates and CSIR employees are exempted from fee

Selection Process: Short listed candidates are called for interview/ test.
