Age Limit: Candidates age must be below 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Masters Degree in concerned subject with at least 55%marks and must have cleared NET/SLET/SET.

Application form & fee: Candidates need to pay the fee in the fee in the form of Demand Draft  of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of Central University of Karnataka and payable at Gulbarga.
By Hand: Candidates need to pay the fee if obtained by hand is Rs.200/- for General candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates from the University Office on any working days between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm by payment of cash as prescribed.
Downloaded: Candidates downloaded the application form from the website should pay Rs.100/- for General candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Application form and information booklet are available on University website www.cuk.ac.in which can be downloaded, printed and sent by post after attaching the DD as prescribed.
By Post: Candidates willing to obtain the application form by post should pay Rs.300/- for General candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/ PH candidates by sending a DD to the University. Please super scribe clearly on the envelope “Request for Assistant Professor Applications form.

Registration Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.500/- for General candidates and Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates through Demand Draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of Central University of Karnataka and payable at Gulbarga.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send the filled-in application form along with fee as detailed above with the requisite Demand Drafts and self-attested copies of other documents viz., education & experience certificates publications, etc., should reach the Registrar, Central University of Karnataka, 2nd Floor, Karya Soudha, Gulbarga University Campus, Gulbarga – 585106 by 29-06-2013.
