IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2013 – Group B & C Vacancies: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has issued notification for the recruitment of 15 Group B & C posts. 1. Assistant Security Officer (Sec. Unit): 01 post
2. Junior Superintendent (Instt): 01 post
3. Junior Technical Superintendent (CC, CE, ME, MSP, EE & PHY): 08 posts
II. Group – C:
4. Assistant Coach: 02 posts
5. Junior Assistant: 03 posts

Age Limit: For Group-B Posts (Sl. No. 01 to 03)–25 to 40 years and Group- C Posts (Sl No. 04 & 05)–18 to 35 years. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Graduation with 05 years relevant experience for Sr. No. 1 post, Master’s degree with 05 years relevant experience for Sr. No. 2 posts, MCA, BE/B.Tech (Civil Engg)/ M.Sc/ Diploma in Engineering for Sr. No. 3 posts, Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with Diploma in Coaching from NIS Patiala, OR Master’s Degree (two years course) in physical education for Sr. No. 4 posts & Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer applications for Sr. No. 5 posts.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay demand draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, IIT Kanpur” payable at Kanpur. No fee for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written/ trade test and/ or interview.

Superintendent of Police/ Assistant Commandant of Police for Security Officer with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written/ trade test and/or interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Registrar, IIT Kanpur” payable atKanpur. SC/ ST/ PH are exempted from the fee.
