Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years for Sr.No. 1, 4 to 7 & 9 posts, 35 years for Sr. No. 2, 3, 8 & 10 posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline, Master’s Degree Sr.No. 1 post, M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Economics/Political Science, NET Sr. No. 2 posts, M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, NET Sr. No. 3 posts, Masters Degree in the relevant subject, B.Ed for Sr. No. 4 to 6 posts, Masters Degree in Home Science/Food & Nutrition, B.Ed for Sr. No. 7 posts, Second Class Bachelors Degree B.Ed for Sr. No. 8 posts, Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline, Master’s Degree in any stream of Humanities and Social Sciences for Sr. No. 9 posts & Master’s Degree level in any stream of Humanities & Social Sciences from an Indian/ Foreign University, NET for Sr. No. 10 posts.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 800/- as application fee for AGP Rs.9000 and above posts, Rs.400/- as application fee for AGP/GP of Rs. 6000/-, Rs.300/- as application fee for GP of Rs.4800 and Rs.4600. SC/ST candidates shall pay only 25% of the above application fee. Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from paying fee. Application fee must be paid in the form of a/c payee Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan branch, (2121) in favour of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
