NIO Goa Recruitment 2013 – Walk in for JRF & Project Asst Posts: National
Institute of Oceanography (NIO) has issued notification for the
recruitment of 04 JRF (LS)/ PA-II, JRF (LS), Project Assistant-I
vacancies at Goa, Kochi, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam. Eligible candidates may
attend for walk in interview along with necessary documents on 14, 21

Age Limit: Candidates
upper age limit should not exceed 28 years as on date of interview for
JRF posts. Maximum age as on date of interview is 25 years for Project
Assistant-I post. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should possess M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Sc (Tech) in Geophysics/
Marine Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics/ Marine Sciences with Marine
Geophysics/ Applied geology/ Earth Sciences/ Marine Geology. CSIR/
UGC-NET (LS) qualified candidates will be considered for JRF (LS)/PA-II
post, M.Sc. Chemistry. CSIR/ UGC.NET (LS) qualification for JRF (LS)
post, B.Sc Computer Science or BCA for Project Assistant-I post
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test and interview.
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates may attend for walk in interview along with bio data,
attested copies of certificates and mark lists in proof of qualification
(SSC onwards), age, experience and testimonials and photo identity
proof at NIO, DONA Paula, Goa-403004 on 14, 21 & 25-03-2013 at 10:00
AM. Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to attend
the interview.
