SKUAST Recruitment 2013 – 60 Teaching Positions: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST) invites applications for the recruitment of 60 Faculty vacancies in various departments on temporary appointment.  Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 18-03-2013. 1. Director Research: 01 Post
2. Dean, F.V.Sc. & A.H.: 01 Post
3. Professor: 16 Posts
4. Assoc. Professor/Sr. Scientist & equivalent: 14 Posts
5. Asstt. Professor/Jr. Scientist & equivalent: 18 Posts
6. Subject Matter Specialist: 09 posts
7. Asstt. Director Resident Instructions: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 20 years & 50 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Doctorate for Sr. No. 1, 2, 3, 4 posts, Master’s Degree or Ph. D for Sr. No. 5, 6, 7 posts in their concerned subjects

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.1500/- to comptroller, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences & Technology, Jammu payable at Jammu in the form of demand draft.

Selection Process: Selection can be done on the basis of performance in Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates can download the application format from www.skuast.org website, fill it with given mandatory details, affix recent passport size photograph on it and sent along with the attested copies of all relevant documents and 2 self addressed envelope cover of Rs.30/- stamped and by super scribing application as “Application for the post of ___” should reach to the office of the Registrar, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agril. Sciences & Technology of Jammu, Chatha (J&K) by Registered/ Speed post on or before 18-03-2013.

Age Limit: Candidate should have age of minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years  as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Agri/ Horti/ Agri. Engg/ Sericulture/ Forestry/ Fisheries/ B.V.Sc & AH from a recognized University. PG from any branch of agriculture & allied sciences are desirable.
