Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 28 years as on 30-06-2012. Relaxations will be as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Chemical /Mining with Mines Survey Certificate of Competency from DGMS from Government Recognized Institute.
Application Fee: Unreserved and OBC Candidates must pay Rs.250/- and SC/ST Candidates must pay Rs.50/- as application fee through SBI branch (having Core Banking Facility) and all the candidates must pay an Additional Amount of Rs.20/- as Bank Charges. Payment must be remitted in the specially opened account no.32469839252 at SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata, on behalf of SAIL/RMD through the print out of challan which is available on the Application Registration Portal.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply through online from the website www.sail.co.in on or before 16-01-2013.
Instructions for Online Applicants:
1. First Candidates have to scan the color photograph, signature, thumb impression for uploading at the time of online apply.
2. Candidates have to visit the site www.sail.co.in and select the “Careers with SAIL”.
3. Candidates have to fill the fields with correct information in the online aplication
4. Download the Challan and make the payment.
5. Next update the challan unique journal number and the branch code of the bank in the online application and submit it.
6. After Applying candidates are required to download the system generated Registration slip with unique registration number. Take a print copy of the registration slip.
7. Date, Time and examination Center will be announced through email/www.sail.co.in.
