PSTET 2013 – Apply Online for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test


PSTET 2013 – Apply Online for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test: Punjab State Government has issued notification for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test 2013. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 31-12-2012. For more details regarding age limit, educational qualifications, selection process and how to apply are mentioned below….
Educational Qualifications:
I. Qualifications for class 1 to 5:
Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) senior secondary or its equivalent with 50% marks and passed or appearing for 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education B. El. Ed. BA/B.Sc.
II. Qualifications for class 6 to 8:
Senior Secondary passed or appearing for final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed  or appearing for final 4 year BA/B.Sc. Ed/B.Sc. (Ed.)
Application Fee: Unreserved/ OBC Candidates must pay Rs.500/- as Application Fee, SC/ST of Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as Application Fee. Unreserved /OBC Candidates who intend to apply for both papers 1 & 2 must pay Rs.1000/- and SC/ST must pay Rs.600/-.Deposit the prescribed fee in the bank (listed on website i.e. Axis Bank Ltd. or HDFC Bank Ltd) in the form of E-Payment. Pay through E-Cash Coupon (Available in banks listed as above).
Examination Pattern: Paper – I will be for a Person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V, Paper – II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. Candidates who intend to teach both classes can attend for  both paper I & II.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply online through the website tet.bedpunjab.org. From 16-12-2012 to 31-12-2012. Go through with the guidelines clearly and fill the registration form.

1. Candidates have to apply online from 16-12-2012 to 31-12-2012.
2. Candidates have to visit the website tet.bedpunjab.org. Pay application fee
3. Fill the application by clicking at the link PSTET Online Registration.
4. Candidates are advised to visit daily the website for more information.
Important Dates:
Starting Date for Online Applications: 16-12-2012. 
Closing Date for Online Applications: 31-12-2012. 
Closing Date for Fee Payment: 31-12-2012.
Date for Fee Reconciliation and Upload the Status for information to candidates: 03-01-2013.
Date for Uploading the Admit Card: 07-01-2013.
Date of Written Exam for Paper – I: 20-01-2013 from 10.30 A. M to 11.30 A. M.
Date of Written Exam for Paper – II: 20-01-2013 from 13.30 P. M to 15.30 P. M.
Date for Declaration of Results: 28-01-2013.
