Central University of Kashmir Recruitment 2012 – 31 Faculty Vacancies: Central University of Kashmir has issued recruitment notification for the recruitment of 31 Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31-10-2012. Central University of Kashmir Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 31 Posts

1. Professor – 06 Posts
2. Associate Professor – 16 Posts
3. Assistant Professor – 09 Posts

Age Limit: Age of superannuation for all teaching positions at present is 65 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess PhD degree in relevant disciplines for Professor & Assistant Professor Posts and Masters Degree in relevant subjects with NET qualification.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.300/- Unreserved candidates and SC, ST & PwD are required to pay only Rs.150 as application fee. The DD should be drawn on any nationalized bank favoring Central University of Kashmir, payable at Srinagar (J&K).

Selection: Candidates can be selected on the basis of performance in interview.

How to Apply: Candidates may apply for these posts through prescribed application format available on the University website www.cukashmir.ac.in. The prescribed application form can be obtain from the Transit Campus of the University at Sonwar, Near GB Pant Hospital, Srinagar 190 004, J&K on cash payment for Rs.300 or by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.300. The application form can also be downloaded from the University website and submitted/sent with a DD. Completed application form may either be delivered personally at the Reception Counter of the University or sent by post to Registrar, Central University of Kashmir, Sonwar, Near GB Pant Hospital, Srinagar 190 004, J&K.
