3. Lecturer – 38 vacancies
4. Mining Officer – 01 vacancy
5. Assistant Geologist – 04 vacancies
6. Drilling Engineer – 01 vacancy
7. Social Studies Instructor – 02 vacancies
8. Labour Inspector – 39 vacancies
9. Research Assistant – 04 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years and 27 years for post 1,2,7 to 9, below 30 years for Lecturer post and between 21 to 27 years for posts 4 to 6. Crucial date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Honours, NET and Ph.D in relevant discipline/subject for Lecturer post, Master’s Degree in Geology for Asst Geologist post and Graduate Degree in relevant discipline for remaining posts. For more details refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 350/- for posts 1 to 6 and Rs. 320/- for posts 6 to 9, in form of challan downloaded from the website. SC/ST candidates would require to pay half the amount of fee payable by General and OBC candidates.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the website or Office Counter of MPSC, Office Headquarter, Shillong or MPSC Cell at Tura, Nongstoin, Jowal, Baghmara & Williamnagar, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and send it through Registered Post along with challan and Copies of all relevant certificates, to Office Counter of MPSC, Office Headquarter, Shillong and MPSC Cell at Tura, Nongstoin, Jowal, Baghmara & Williamnagar or on before 21-09-2012. 2. Take print out of Challan and make payment as per details given above.
3. Revisit the MPSC’s website and this time select the Online Application link.

5. Fill all marked details carefully in the online application, check once for errors and click on ‘Submit’ button.
