ESIC Chennai Recruitment 2012 – UDC & MTS Vacancies: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued notification against recruitment of 11 UDC and MTS posts in Tamil Nadu region. Eligible candidates who are meritorious sports persons may apply for the desired post by sending applications in prescribed format on or before 12-09-2012. ESIC Vacancy Details:
Number of Vacancies: 11
Names of Posts:
1. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – 04 vacancies
2. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 07 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 and 27 years for UDC posts and between 18 and 25 years for MTS posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 12-09-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Sportspersons with Degree from recognized University and working knowledge of Computers may apply for UDC post and with Matriculation for MTS posts.

Application Fee Details: Candidates must pay Rs. 225/- for applying for UDC post and Rs. 125/- for MTS post towards application fee. Fee must be paid in form of Demand Draft of any scheduled bank. DD must be drawn in favour of “The Additional Commissioner, ESI Corporation, Chennai” and payable at Chennai. SC/ST/ PWD/ Departmental Candidates/Female Candidates /Ex Servicemen are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of the guidelines/instructions issued by Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe “Application for the post of UDC /MTS under Sports Quota” on the envelope and send it along with DD and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Additional Commissioner, Regional Office, ESI Corporation, 143, Sterling Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai – 600 034 on or before 12-09-2012 through Speed or Registered Post.
