Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany invites applications for the
posts of 20 Scientist ‘D’ & ‘B’ vacancies. Eligible candidates may
apply through prescribed application format
as given in the notification on or before 15-10-2012. Other details

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 45 years for Scientist ‘D’ and for Scientist ‘B’ 35 years.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should be qualified in M.Sc in Geology/ Geophysics/ Physics/
Botany with not less than 65% marks with relevant experience.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/-
infavour of Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany Lucknow, through
demand draft only drawn in any Nationalized Bank Lucknow. SC/ST/PH
candidates need not to pay fee.
Selection Process: Selection can be done on the basis of Short listing by a screening then after called for test and/or interview.

Candidates should submit their application through prescribed
application form as given in the notification along with attested copies
of mark sheets, degrees, certificates, testimonials etc to the
Registrar, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, 53 University Road,
